Trakia MT Solar Ltd. has developed and constructed a photovoltaic power plant project located in the land area of the town of Malko Tarnovo, Malko Tarnovo Municipality, Malko Tarnovo Region. The plant has a nominal capacity of 36 MW and an installed capacity of 44.79 MWp. The total area of the real estate properties on which the Malko Tarnovo PVP is built spans 409,938 square meters. Within this area, a new 35/110 kV step-up substation has been installed to connect to the power transmission grid of the Electricity System Operator (ESO) at a 110 kV level.
The modules used in the Malko Tarnovo PVP project are Jinko Solar JKM-565N-72HL4-BDV with a capacity of 565 Wp and Jinko Solar JKM-570N-72HL4-BDV with a capacity of 570 Wp, featuring an efficiency rate of 22.07%. Each module is mounted on a galvanized steel “Schletter” supporting structure, positioned on solid concrete blocks. The plant includes eight standardized combined inverter stations Siemens/Gamesa Proteus with a nominal full capacity of 4.7 MVA, featuring an additional output for battery integration.
The energy generated by the photovoltaic modules and converted by the central inverters is stepped up via a power transformer. The transformed energy is transmitted at a 35 kV voltage level to the 35/110 kV step-up substation. The connection point of the Malko Tarnovo PVP to the power transmission grid is a newly constructed 110 kV output field at the Malko Tarnovo substation.
The electricity generated is utilized for commercial sales.
